Job Description

Locums First is recruiting for a number of Healthcare Assistants to work in primary and secondary care across Hayes. On average earn healthcare assistants at Locums First earn £12 to £20 per hour, including holiday pay. There is no minimum number of shifts you are required to work, meaning we can work around your schedule and allowing you to work when you please.

For this role, it is desirable for applicants to be experienced within primary and seoncdary care and be confident carrying out the following skills:

  • Phlebotomy
  • ECGs
  • Blood pressure taking
  • NHS & new patient checks
  • Health and weight checks
  • Working to PSDs

We have locum shifts available across several primary and secondary care settings including General Practice, Walk-in Centres, Out of Hours, and Hospitals – meaning we can offer our HCA’s work on weekdays, weekends, and in the evenings. Many of these shifts are able to be booked months in advance, allowing you to plan your work rota and take control of your life.
